More Planes From The Past by Kahukiwa Class.

Easy Blog Photo

In Kahukiwa we have made peg and ice-block stick planes to look at how the shapes of planes have changed. We really enjoyed making the planes and the boys were practicing barrel rolls.

Patrick " We looked at planes from the past to see the difference in wooden airplanes. The olden day planes didn't have roofs. The best part of the whole lesson was putting them up on the ceiling because it looks like they're flying around!"

Raden "We glued the planes together with hot glue. When I got home I made four wooden airplanes. I made them because I wanted to play with them more. I practiced throwing them and decorated them. Getting the glue onto the planes was hard. My mum helped me with it at home."

  1. Hi Kahukiwa Class,
I really like how you guys are being very creative by making planes, the colour on them look beautiful. I would love to know how to make those cool planes. Have you made any more of them?
